Container Spreader Twist Locks
“Twist Locks” are a major thrust area of our business operations, which are being regularly manufactured for container handling cranes like : RMQC , RTGC, RMGC, Reach Stackers etc
All Twist Locks are one piece construction made by "closed die forging" process from Ni-Cr-Mo alloy steels and Heat Treated to give a guaranteed impact strength of minimum 27 Joules @ -20°C
They are accurately machined on CNC lathes and wherever possible threads are formed by "thread rolling" process. All threads are checked with Go/No-Go gauges.
All Twist Locks are routinely proof load tested at 2.5 X SWL, under "Dock workers Regulations, 1990" under the supervision of a qualified person of the Govt. approved test house.
All Twist Locks carry unique identifcation number which is reflected in the proof load test report.
All Twist Locks are mandatorily checked for any surface cracks by magnetic particle testing after the proof load testing.
